Santa is all dressed up and ready for skiing with this unique vintage mechanical Santa!
We believe that this toy is from the late 1930s or early 40s but the date has not been verified. Item was made in Japan, no manufacturer listed on the box with the only other marking on the box being J.O.
Santa has a wind up on his back that makes his arms swing the ski poles up and down.
The tips of the skis have become loose and fragile (see pictures). Santa’s left pole is missing the original white felt circle tip and it has been replaced with a white circle that looks similar (see pictures).
Includes the original box which is torn and bent in several locations (see pictures).
